1. Who we are
IndieCrave is a direct-to-fan music marketplace that lets independent artists sell music directly to listeners. IndieCrave is a platform — we connect buyers and sellers, but the music is owned and sold by individual artists.
2. Accounts
You can join IndieCrave as a Craver (fan) or Indie (artist). Every Indie account is also a Craver automatically. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account.
3. How payments work
IndieCrave uses Stripe to process payments. When you buy music, money flows from you to the artist's Stripe Connect account, minus Stripe's processing fee. IndieCrave charges artists no platform fee by default. Founding-artist deals may include a percentage share.
IndieCrave does not hold artist funds. Artists are responsible for their own taxes and for the Stripe account they connect.
4. Refund policy
All digital sales are final unless the file or service failed for a technical reason.
- File didn't download, was corrupt, or couldn't be played: full refund. Contact support.
- You didn't like the music, changed your mind, or bought by accident: no refund. A free preview is available before purchase.
- Unauthorized charge: if your card was used without your permission, dispute it with your bank. We will cooperate with Stripe to resolve the dispute.
Refunds, when granted, are issued against the artist's Stripe Connect balance. The artist is the merchant of record for music sales.
5. Artist content & rights
Artists keep full ownership of the music they upload. By uploading, artists grant IndieCrave a non-exclusive license to host, stream, distribute, and display the music to buyers. Artists are responsible for confirming they own or have licensed every element of the music they upload.
IndieCrave will respond to valid DMCA takedown notices. Email support@indiecrave.com.
6. Prohibited use
- Uploading music you don't own or have rights to.
- Reselling or redistributing music purchased on IndieCrave.
- Using stolen payment methods, creating fake accounts, or abusing the platform in any way.
- Harassment, hate, or illegal content of any kind.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
